Iota Glass’ Isabelle Davies was included in the September 2025 edition of Velvet magazine by columnist Julia Johnson!

Isabelle is thrilled to have been included in Julia’s musings on and celebrations of women in the arts for Velvet, a regional magazine covering Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. Julia met Isabelle while she was exhibiting her stained glass works at the Fitzwilliam Museum as part of Cambridge Open Studios in July.

Julia said: ‘Warm and charming, (Isabelle) explained with great care all the details of her production process. I now have one of her beautiful ornaments sitting on my kitchen windowsill: what a find!’

Isabelle is honoured to be mentioned alongside other great women artists in and around Cambridge including Jo Clark, Caroline Oriokot, and Dr Orsolya Ihasz.
