Isabelle enjoys creating new works which include autonomous and commissioned pieces. Her practice celebrates stained glass’s boldness, story-telling, and the dynamic interplay of light.

Isabelle’s work is often narrative-driven with expressive figural scenes, using a range of glass colours, textures and glass painting techniques to evoke the essence and emotion of subjects. Mythological subjects and themes frequently feature, stemming from her life-long love of Greek mythology and Classical archaeology. Isabelle is also interested in the natural world, finding inspiration in the abundance of colour, variety of shapes, and depth of meaning that can be found in plants and animals.
